Overview
The Tirich Mir Base Camp Trek leads into the very center of the high Hindukush Mountains to the base camp of Tirich Mir (7708m), the highest peak in the Hindukush range. The route passes through the scenic Tirich Valley and across Zani Pass, offering views of 7000m summits including Noshaq (7492m) and Istor Nal (7403m). The Hindukush lies beyond the reach of the monsoon, creating a deserted arid mountainscape visited by very few trekkers.

Day 1
Arrival in Islamabad, hotel transfer and city tour
Day 2
Fly to Chitral via Lowari Tunnel
Day 3
Explore Chitral town, bazaar, Shahi Mosque and fort
Day 4
Drive to Zani Pass trailhead
Day 5
Trek across Zani Pass with views of Hindukush and Hindu Raj
Day 6
Trek through Atak and Bandak villages
Day 7
Arrive at Shogor at the foot of the Tirich Glacier
Day 8
Rest day and exploration at Shogor
Day 9
Trek to Tirich Mir Base Camp (Babu)
Day 10
Full day at base camp with views of Tirich Mir, Istor Nal and Upper Tirich Glacier
Day 11
Return trek to Shogor
Day 12
Trek back towards Zani Pass
Day 13
Drive to Chitral, visit Kalash Valley if time permits
