The Naltar-Ishkoman Trek connects the beautiful alpine meadows and lakes of Naltar Valley with the remote Ishkoman region in the Ghizer District. Naltar is known for its dense pine forests, ski resort and colourful alpine lakes, while Ishkoman offers wide river valleys and traditional Wakhi villages. This moderate trek is perfect for trekkers who want to experience the diversity of Gilgit-Baltistan from lush green valleys to high mountain passes.

Day 1
Arrival in Islamabad, hotel transfer
Day 2
Fly to Gilgit or drive to Chilas
Day 3
Drive from Gilgit to Naltar Valley, visit Naltar Lakes
Day 4
Trek from Naltar through pine forests towards Naltar Pass
Day 5
Cross Naltar Pass (approx. 4600m), descend towards Ishkoman
Day 6
Trek through Ishkoman Valley pastures and villages
Day 7
Continue trek along Ishkoman River
Day 8
Reach Ishkoman roadhead, drive to Gupis
Day 9
Drive to Gilgit, visit Kargah Buddha and local bazaar
Day 10
Fly or drive back to Islamabad
