Overview
The Masherbrum Base Camp Trek ventures into the Hushe Valley to the foot of Masherbrum (7821m), the 22nd highest mountain in the world and one of the most striking peaks in the Karakoram. The route follows the Hushe River through traditional Balti villages and up the Masherbrum Glacier to a dramatic base camp surrounded by granite towers and icy walls. This less-travelled trek offers an intimate Karakoram experience away from the Baltoro crowds.
