Overview
The Indus River cuts one of the deepest gorges in the world as it thunders through the Karakoram. The Grade IV section near Chilas and Shatial offers serious white-water rafting through dramatic canyon walls with ancient rock carvings on the cliffs above. This is powerful, glacier-fed water — cold, fast, and magnificent.
