Overview

Passu Glacier is one of the most accessible and visually dramatic glaciers along the entire Karakoram Highway, located near Passu village in Upper Hunza (Gojal), approximately 15 km north of Attabad Lake. The glacier flows from the Passu Cones — a spectacular jagged row of cathedral-like rock spires that form one of the most photographed skylines in Pakistan. The glacier's snout comes remarkably close to the KKH, making it reachable on foot within 30–45 minutes from the road.
